Amy joined our Board in 2014 after being involved with the improvement of Brook Street Park and campaigning for a new school in Redfield. She and her family have lived in Redfield for 5 years. She is passionate about residents coming together to improve their neighbourhood, and believes our part of the city has real community spirit. Amy has a particular interest in children and young people, education, access to cultural opportunities and engaging everyone with the climate change.
Dominic has been on our Board since 2006 and was Chair from 2006 to 2013. Dominic is currently a Deputy Chair. Dominic lives in The Dings. He has been involved in community regeneration work for the past 30 years and his passion is developing the skills of residents so they have the confidence and knowledge to influence decisions.
Jane lives in Redfield and joined our board in 2013. Jane is currently a Deputy Chair. She got involved after noticing her local park was run down and neglected. She helped get Friends of Brook Street Park off the ground and today there is a fantastic new play area. Jane was bitten by the community bug and thinks getting involved with Up Our Street is one the best things she's ever done. Jane cares about the neighbourhood and wanted to be part of making a difference.
Joyce got involved in our work because she wanted to improve local parks for her children. She lives in Redfield and has been on our Board since May 2009.
Matt has been on our Board since the beginning of 2013. He moved to Easton in 2010 because he really loved the strong community feel of the area. He felt this area had some of the strongest community spirit in Bristol and having lived here for a bit, he thought he should get involved!
Mike became a Board member in 2011 after being a resident Board member of Easton Community Partnership for many years. He is well known in the community and has lived just off Stapleton Road his whole life. Mike is also on the Neighbourhood Partnership and is Church Secretary at Stapleton Road Chapel.
Noelle joined our Board in September 2016 and currently works for UWE as Head of Information and Advice, and her background is mostly in defining and measuring success in the public sector. On evenings and weekends, she is active in Bristol’s community and voluntary sector and, over the years, she’s been involved in service delivery, community development, and campaigning organisations, both as a leader and a member-at-large. She most enjoys supporting organisations through periods of intensive change and/or great challenge. She considers herself very lucky to be involved with Up Our Street, since she lives on the wrong side of the M32.
Sally has been Chair of Easton and Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood Management since March 2013. Sally got involved with Community at Heart as a Board member in 2003. She lives in The Dings and is also Chair of Dings Community Association. She is particularly interested in making sure that there are good services for our young people.
Ric joined our Board in September 2016.
Dr Thom Oliver
Thom joined our board in September 2016 after being involved in local politics and the Active Citizens programme. Thom lives in Redfield near Netham Park and works as an academic and research bid writer at UWE Bristol. Thom has a particular interest in encouraging, supporting and inspiring local people to take an even stronger role in shaping the spaces, places and policies which affect their day to day lives and hopes to use his bid writing experience to assist Up Our Street to continue and extend their work in this area.
Stacy is our Manager. She oversees the running of the organisation including fundraising and supporting our resident board. She also produces our newsletter Up Our Street, sends out press releases about our work, organises events like the Thank You Awards and promotes the Neighbourhood Forum.
Tracy is our Finance and Office Manager. She looks after our shops on Avonvale Road, manages our accounts and oversees the running of our office in the Beacon Centre. She also sends out our Up Our Street ebulletin, looks after our community noticeboards and supports the Endowment Fund grant.
Celia is one of our Community Engagement Officers. She works with local people to help them come together to solve problems. She is regularly out and about talking to residents to find out what they like or dislike about where they live and what we could do to make Easton and Lawrence Hill a better place.
Celia works Monday to Wednesday.
Emily joined Up Our Street in September 2016 as our new Business Development Officer. Emily will be working on the sustainability of Up Our Street. Emily works Tuesdays to Thursdays.

Tamsin will be working as a freelance Communications Specialist to produce the next five editions of the Up Our Street newsletter.
Kuba is our new Community Research Manager working part time to develop a coproduced neighbourhood action plan for Easton and Lawrence Hill. He is also a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Exeter, where he works on geographies of democracy, citizenship and migration.
