Question Time

Post date 11 May 2017

With a snap General Election called for 8 June, Up Our Street has swung into action to organise a Bristol West Question Time event on Tuesday 23 May, 6pm to 9pm, at Trinity Centre.

This will be a chance to hear our candidates answer tough questions about real issues facing our neighbourhood, including housing, health, education and schools, welfare, race equality, neighbourhoods and community and more.

This is a free event, but you must book your place. Booking is NOW OPEN: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/easton-and-lawrence-hill-bristol-west-question-time-tickets-34315766381 Priority goes to people from BS5 and BS2.

If you have a burning question, please send it to Up Our Street on 0117 954 2837 or manager@eastonandlawrencehill.org.uk by 19 May. We won’t be able to ask all the questions sent in but they will help us know what’s important locally.

This event is supported by Locality, National Union of Teachers, Trinity Centre, Black South West Network, Ujima and BCfm.

UPDATE 23 MAY - due to tragic events in Manchester, political campaigning is suspended today. We are therefore cancelling this event.
